A proper spring startup is more than simply turning the water back on. After a Michigan winter, your irrigation system should be carefully pressurized, inspected, adjusted, and tested to make sure it is operating efficiently and without damage.
When we arrive at your property, we begin by safely turning the water on and slowly pressurizing the irrigation system. From there, we go through every zone one by one to make sure the system is operating as it should and covering the proper areas.
Safely turn the water on and bring the system online
Run through every zone in the system
Adjust sprinkler heads for proper direction and coverage
Inspect for visible leaks, broken rotors, spray heads, and fittings
Check for pressure issues and watering inefficiencies
Review timer settings and controller programming
Make sure lawn, tree, garden, and shrub zones are getting the proper amount of water
We do more than a quick activation. We take time to evaluate the overall performance of your irrigation system, improve coverage where needed, and help you understand exactly what your system needs.
After inspecting the system, we can provide:
An estimate for necessary repairs only
An estimate for recommended improvements
An estimate that includes both repairs and suggested upgrades
A properly performed sprinkler startup helps catch leaks early, reduce wasted water, improve coverage, prevent dry spots, and extend the life of your irrigation system. It also helps make sure your timer is programmed efficiently so each section of your property gets the right amount of water.
