Santoro Services is a family-owned contractor headquartered in Chesterfield Township, founded in 2014 by third-generation professionals with more than 50 years in the trade between them. In winter it runs as Detroit Snow Removal, handling commercial snow and ice control across Detroit and Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.

More than 50 vehicles, from half-ton pickups to semis, and a team of more than 60. Loaders run from a quarter yard up to a 10-yard pit loader, and trucks from a 2-yard dump to a gravel train. All work is done by Santoro's own crews, never subcontracted. Weather is watched around the clock, deicer is stockpiled in the off-season, and three yards keep response times short and backup equipment close in big storms. Seasonal contracts are set up for each property, with service 24/7 and the aim of finishing within 24 hours after the snow stops.

Past projects include parks and playgrounds in White Lake, Rochester Hills, Oak Park, Garden City and Clay Township, and work at Hamtramck Stadium.
